I opened up the document camera and used it with my class. I had a word ladder on Friendship. I placed it under the camera. We could see the image but I couldn't get the markers to write on the Smart Board. Bummer! So we left it up on the board as a visual. I was able to walk around the class and read the board but discuss each section of the ladder. A word ladder is where you start with one word at the bottom (friend) and build other words all the way up the ladder using clues along the way. Sometimes you have to remove a letter or two. Other times you have to add a letter. It is a fun way to have friends discuss and think. This puzzle ended with Chum.
Now I have to find out why I couldn't write on the board.
